The model is based on the 3rd generation locomotives, numbers 24 and 25, and reproduces details such as the block-type number plates and taillight shape, which differ from the 1st and 2nd generation locomotives. The couplers can be replaced with the included dummy couplers. Two types of dummy couplers are included: automatic couplers and dual-head couplers. The jumper plug receptacle on the 2-end side has been painted. The car number can be changed using the included dry transfer decals. Includes Arnold couplers for connecting to the 115 series. *Please use in conjunction with the separately sold "A023 Coupler for Connecting Leading Cars". Enjoy combining it with the separately sold "489 series", "115 series", etc. The minimum running radius for a single EF63 locomotive is R95. When coupled in double-header configuration or with 489 series or 115 series trains, the radius becomes R195. Headlights and taillights illuminate. They can be turned ON/OFF using a switch inside the vehicle.
