Course of the game:Each player draws the appropriate number of stone rectangular tiles, which are placed face down. The game is started by a random player who chooses one of their dice and places it on the table. The next player adds their die to those already laid out on the table so that the touching sides have the same number of pips. The player who gets rid of their stones, or „closes” the domino – adds their tile in such a way that both its sides match the two ends of the sequence of tiles formed by the players, wins.
The game develops observation skills, logical thinking ability, and the ability to compete harmoniously.
Example types of domino games:
Classic dominoes:The stones are placed so that touching fields have the same number of pips. If the next player does not have a stone that can be placed according to the given rule, they draw a stone from the remaining pool on the table. According to the agreement, if the drawn stone also does not match the laid-out ones, the player draws further stones until they choose the correct one. (or exhaustion of the voucher), or the next player makes a move. The player who first lays out all their stones or "closes" the game by laying out a stone that matches one end of the "snake" formed by the laid-out stones with one side, and the other end with the other side, wins. The game can be continued for several rounds, recording the sum of points on the unlaid stones to the account of the player who ends the round, until one of the players reaches an agreed-upon number of points.
French dominoes:This is the opposite of the classic game; it involves the tiles not touching each other but stacking upwards with the same numbers.. The one who gets rid of the drawn pieces first wins.
Italian Dominoes:The principle of the game is that 2 players each roll 6 dice and try to form pairs from them with a sum of 7 pips.. The player who first forms five pairs with a sum of 7 wins.
Hungarian dominoes:It is for 2 to 4 players who themselves determine the number of rounds and take a specific number of stone dice. In each game, the player adds all the matching tiles they drew at the start.. The winner is the player who has pawns left with the smallest sum of pips.
