Synopsis

The first-year arc finally comes to an end. The third season of the wildly popular school apocalypse series "Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite" is finally airing!

With over 8.4 million copies sold! MF Bunko J's wildly popular School Apocalypse will see the long-awaited third season of the anime begin airing in January 2024! The original work is the smash-hit light novel "Welcome to the Classroom of the Elite" by the wildly popular creative duo of Shogo Kinugasa and Shunsaku Tomose, whose series has sold over 8.4 million copies (including e-books). The manga adaptation is currently being serialized in Comic Alive! The first season of the anime aired in 2017 and was a huge hit. The second season aired in 2021, and now the third season, marking the finale of the first-year arc, is finally airing! With the start of the third semester, Ayanokoji and his friends have been promoted from Class D to Class C and are heading off on a school trip. There, they will be taking a special test called the "Mixed Training Camp," a joint test for all grades. They will have to cooperate with students from other classes who they had previously considered enemies in order to achieve high scores. And most importantly, the rule that any group that does not reach the borderline will be expelled terrifies the entire class. The turbulent third semester is about to begin!

The all-star staff has reunited! L'Arche will once again be in charge of animation production! Kishi Seiji and Hashimoto Hiroyuki, who co-directed the first season, will serve as general directors, and Ninshouji Yoshito will once again be director! In addition to Kazeno Hayato from Season 2, Shigenobu Yasushi, who worked as a screenwriter on Season 2, will be joining the team as series composition director! Morita Kazuaki will continue to be in charge of character design! L'Arche will be in charge of animation production! The rock-solid staff that brought great success to the anime adaptations up to Season 2 have brought the story of the turbulent third semester to life!

A stellar cast of voice actors, including Chiba Shoya, Hidaka Rina, Kito Akari, and Taketatsu Ayana, have reunited! The main character, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, will be played by Chiba Shoya, who voiced Shin'ei Nouzen in "86," Sakayanagi Arisu, will be played by Hidaka Rina, who voiced Claire Kageno in "I Want to Be the Strongest in the World!"

Horikita Suzune will be played by Kito Akari, who voiced Kamado Nezuko in "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," and other stellar voice actors have been cast once again! Additionally, a stellar cast of leading voice actors, including Kubo Yurika, Taketatsu Ayana, Osaka Ryota, Iwasawa Toshiki, Toyama Nao, Azagami Yohei, Mizunaka Masaaki, Takahashi Rie, Umehara Yuichiro, and Saito Soma, have been assembled!

[Story Summary] Tokyo Advanced Nurturing High School is a dream school that boasts a 100% college advancement and employment rate, and provides points worth 100,000 yen each month. However, in reality, it is a meritocracy school where only a select few students with excellent grades receive preferential treatment.

In the third semester, Ayanokoji and his friends are promoted from Class D to Class C and head off to a forest school. There, they will be taking part in a special test called "Mixed Training Camp," which is held jointly by all grades. As the name suggests, the exam is divided into several groups, with students from multiple classes mixed together, and graded on a group-by-group basis.

They will not be able to get a high score unless they cooperate with students from other classes who have previously been their enemies. And what's more, everyone is horrified by the rule that any group that does not reach the borderline will be expelled. The curtain is now rising on a tumultuous and eventful third term!
