A 1/48 scale plastic model of the flying boat featured prominently on screen as the protagonist's beloved aircraft in Hayao Miyazaki's film "Porco Rosso." Since the aircraft is twice the size of the 1/72 scale model, the entire aircraft has been redesigned. Based on reference materials from the anime as well as the structure of actual aircraft from the period depicted in the film, the interior and engine have been recreated. To allow you to experience both the fun of the film and the excitement of model building, the kit includes an instruction manual that makes it seem as if the actual aircraft actually existed.

This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting.

Assembly and painting require additional adhesives, tools, paints, etc.
