Product Introduction
Tamiya 1/6 scale "Motorcycle Series No. 31 Honda Gorilla Spring Collection" plastic model kit.
[About the Honda Gorilla Spring Collection]
The Gorilla debuted in August 1978 as a sibling to the Honda Monkey, which pioneered the leisure bike genre.
While the Monkey was designed for transporting the rider to their destination in a car, the Gorilla, with its large 9-liter tank and seats optimized for long-distance driving, was designed for self-driving.
Production was discontinued in 1992, but due to its continued popularity on the used car market, production resumed in 1998.
A special model with a full chrome plating was released in January 1999.
