It was too small

The orange sneakers are too narrow from the opening to slip on, no foot can fit through. My husband managed to get through the opening with cunning and trickery, and it left his foot with blood. In terms of foot length, the shoe is a little too big, but that's OK. In other words, the shoes are defective. What now? Am disappointed.
