The train runs humorously along rails made from assembled panels. It stops and goes at every station. The first-generation Doctor Yellow, the "922-type Shinkansen Electrical and Track Comprehensive Test Car," owned by JR Central will be retired in January 2025 (JR West's vehicles are scheduled for retirement around 2027).
