2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Original D Tin Whistle – 200th Special Edition This is a special limited edition of the Clark Original Tin Whistle commemorating Robert Clark's birth in 1816. It has the same silver body as the Clark original, but with a gold medallion near the top of the whistle. Clarke's Original Tin Whistle is produced in essentially the same way as Clarke's first whistle, made in 1843. It has tapered metal holes that bring the finger holes closer together, increasing the range and making the whistle more accurate with the upper register. It's hard to describe the sound in words, and when compared to plastic top whistles, most people would say it's more musical, mellow, a little more characterful, or less modern.
