This leather is made from chrome-tanned North American steer and processed by a tanner in Himeji. The grain surface is rubbed and finished with dye, wax, and water-based urethane resin. The wax and transparent aniline finish allows it to pull up (whiten). Bending, kneading, and pushing up from the back reveals a pattern of varying shades, developing a unique texture with use. [Aftercare] Periodically remove dust gently with a soft cloth. If it becomes dirty, use a cleaner that is safe for enamel. Once dry, wipe with a clean, soft cloth. Because the leather surface is finished with urethane, it is expected that this material will deteriorate over time due to temperature changes and UV rays. Regular care can slow this process.
