This means they don't require electrolyte refilling. Their advantages include a sealed housing and gelled electrolyte. This guarantees leak-free operation, allowing the battery to be stored in any position and providing greater shock resistance. Gel Battery Durability One of the greatest advantages of gel batteries is their lifespan. Of all the batteries available on the market, this type boasts the longest lifespan, as with proper use, it can last up to several years. Importantly, gel batteries are also characterized by greater resistance to changing and extreme weather conditions.
