Yamai was founded in 1 927. Starting with fertilizer sales, it later developed and began selling a unique organic fertilizer made from silkworm cocoons. Yamai's organic fertilizer has the power to regenerate the ecosystem of weakened soil due to excessive use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, restoring the soil's natural productivity with the cooperation of local tea farmers. Delicious tea is born from soil and climate suitable for tea cultivation, along with knowledgeable tea farmers. To deliver this tea to more people, Yamai has started initiatives. Yamai received a commission for the first HACCP promotion model project in the tea industry and was approved for mini-HACCP by the Shizuoka Prefecture Food Sanitation Association. The tea carefully cultivated by local farmers is processed by skilled tea masters, ensuring quality and hygiene before shipping to customers. The factory has two internal auditors for ISO 14001, practicing product planning and management. Yamai's Tea Brand Story - Part 3: The finishing touches are done by skilled tea masters.
