We work hard on the creation of each wooden case, from design to packaging and shipping to the customer. We take full responsibility for our goods and are 100% confident in them, because the entire complex production process rests in our hands. Materials We make sure that each wooden case is unique. We make them from carefully selected wood, which we source in Poland and also find in the farthest corners of the world. Imbuia (Ocotea porosa) is one of the most interesting types of exotic wood, also known as Brazil nut. Imbuia grows in the subtropical forests of southern Brazil, where it can reach up to 35 meters in height. Its hallmarks are its beautiful purple flowers and its unusual shape – it's not uncommon for two trees to grow side by side, their branches intertwining. Imbuia, like most exotic wood species, is characterized by excellent technical parameters: above-average hardness, stability, durability, and moisture resistance. However, what makes Imbuia wood particularly distinctive is its incredibly original and diverse coloring. The color range ranges from beiges, light yellows, and even delicate greens, through shimmering browns, saturated reds, and deep blacks. Imbuia wood also has a distinctive grain pattern; it is intricate, irregular, and marked with a different intensity on each piece. Polycarbonate [used as the base/backing for our wood] – is a material characterized by dimensional stability, high rigidity, and thermal stability. It is odorless and has excellent impact resistance. It's matte and pleasant to the touch, making it the perfect finish for our wooden cases. TPU silicone [covering the sides of the phone on all four sides] – the most important feature that distinguishes this material is its high flexibility, which allows our cases to perfectly fit the shape of the phone. A case made of silicone will also be flexible across a wide range of temperatures, which is also important. Its excellent abrasion resistance is also very important. TPU silicone also absorbs impacts very well. The plasticity and durability of the material we use will ensure your phone is perfectly protected, and removing and installing the case will be simple and intuitive. Precision of workmanshipThe creation of each of our wooden cases is accompanied by a complex and time-consuming production process. We attach great importance to every, even the smallest, aspect of our case. We use top-of-the-line machines to cut and engrave wood, allowing us to achieve accuracy down to 0.01mm. A significant portion of the production is done by hand, which is rarely seen these days. Sanding, varnishing, polishing, and precisely gluing the wood are the result of hard work by our hands.
