The Akyga AK-CO-02 converter allows you to connect devices communicating via the RS-232 standard to a laptop or computer using a USB port. This conversion is usually useful in newer laptops that do not have an RS-232 port.

This standard is most often used in printers, cash registers, electronic meters, and diagnostic interfaces. The cable is 1 m long and terminated with two male plugs: one USB Type-A and the other RS-232.

The adapter is a unidirectional adapter and only works one way from USB to RS-232.
