While based on the fat and crisp single-coil Strat sound of the 1960s, the overwound design emphasizes the low frequencies, resulting in a versatile, modern sound. The middle pickup features an RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity) specification for hum cancellation. Pole piece pitch: 10.4mm, mounting screw hole spacing: 76.5mm DC Resistance: 6.2K, Inductance: 2.8H, Tolerance: 0.5K for single-coil, 1K for humbucker. Resistance varies with temperature and humidity. Generally, resistance is higher in hot, dry weather and lower in cold, humid weather. In extreme cases, the resistance tolerance may be larger.
