[Product Description]
A juvenile mystery adventure crossing between reality and a mysterious game.
In 1994, four teenagers found a mysterious game at a garage sale.
As they play, it strangely becomes connected to reality.
What dangers will you face to uncover the secrets of 'The Initiative'?
In 'The Initiative', the story begins by reading a comic, and then players actually play the in-story board game called 'The KEY'.
'The KEY' is a cooperative spy-themed board game where each player becomes a spy, using action cards to infiltrate buildings and gather intelligence.
Among the collected intelligence are 'codes' that can open corresponding 'windows' on the mission console with mission cards.
The players' goal is to deduce the 'objective' on the mission card from the characters and numbers revealed when these 'windows' are opened.
Since the game is lost if too much time passes, players must solve the mystery with as few 'windows' opened as possible.
As the story progresses, it begins to strangely align with real events within the story, and the gameplay intersects with the story's progression...
Can you, the players, unravel this mystery to the very end and see the story's conclusion?
There are 39 missions included.
A new type of cooperative mystery-solving game full of surprises and realism, with riddles scattered everywhere.
