Window thermometer that can be nailed or glued to the window. It has special tips with adhesive tape that allow you to attach the thermometer (without drilling holes) to window frames made of plastic, aluminum, or wood.
Additionally, the holders have a hole for screwing the thermometer on. The thermometer scale is printed on a cardboard backing, placed in a glass tube, terminated with plastic stoppers on both sides.
Measuring range of the device from - 50°C to + 50°C
Error tolerance up to approx. +/- 1°C
Thermometric liquid - it consists of a mixture of toluene (used as a solvent) with kerosene and a dye.
Thermometers can be mounted both on the right and left side of the window, usually screwed to the frame.
Thermometers are best mounted in a place not exposed to direct sunlight. Too much sunlight can cause the print on the pad to fade. Direct sunlight, especially in summer, can cause the temperature to rise above 50°C, causing the liquid to expand and causing the capillary to burst.
