PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: ■Characteristics of Ichichudo Nambu Iron Kettle Nanbu Ironware, a traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture with a history of 900 years, has a rustic and warm texture, and is characterized by its texture that increases the more it is used. The outer surface of the iron kettle is finished with natural lacquer baking, and the inner surface is rust-prevented using the traditional pottery technique. (This is a traditional technique that prevents rust by forming a film of triiron tetroxide on the surface by baking it over charcoal at approximately 900 degrees. Boiling water contains plenty of divalent iron, which is easily absorbed by the body, and is effective for replenishing iron kettles. ■Care before and after first use - After lightly rinsing the inside of the iron kettle, fill it with water until the 8th minute and let it boil for about 15 minutes. (The water will be cloudy at first, so repeat the boiling process about 3 times until the water becomes colorless before using it.) - After use, do not leave any hot water left inside the iron kettle; be sure to empty it into a pot, etc., and dry it before storing it away. ■When the water becomes cloudy due to rust. - First, rinse lightly and fill with water until the 8th minute, then wrap about 1 teaspoon of sencha in a cloth, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes in water, being careful not to let it dry.This is a method to reduce the amount of gold by using the chemical reaction between tannins and iron contained in sencha.Repeat this process 2 to 3 times to further improve the effect.After that, rinse lightly and boil water once or twice before use. ■Handling Precautions a. Please be careful not to get burned as the iron kettle will be hot during or immediately after use. b. Please use and store it out of the reach of children. c. Be careful not to drop it if it is stored in a high place. d. If it is not to be used for a long period of time, thoroughly remove moisture and store it in a dry place. e. Do not touch the inside surface. Cleaning with detergent or sponge may remove the rust-preventing oxide film, which may cause rust. f. Please do not use the water until the 8th minute is full. g. Do not use the kettle with such high heat that the flame will come out from the bottom. h. Please adjust the heat when it boils. i. Please note that rapid cooling may cause cracks. j.
