This craft tableware series features Banko ware, a staple on Japanese dining tables alongside Hasami ware and Mino ware.
Made from coarse clay from Yokkaichi, Mie Prefecture, a major clay pot production area, this tableware is durable enough to be used in ovens, microwaves, and dishwashers, while retaining the warmth of the earth.
This cute, rounded mug cherishes the texture of the clay and features a warm, expressive clay. Its simple design complements Scandinavian accessories, tableware, and interior decor. It is microwave and dishwasher safe.
This tableware series is inspired by the weather, drawing on the natural, warm texture and color of Banko ware's characteristic coarse clay. This everyday tableware creates a delightful dining experience, whether sunny, cloudy, or rainy.
Aigama is a small, long-established pottery manufacturer located in Komono Town, Mie Prefecture, at the foot of Mount Gozaisho, cherishing the "ordinary things." The kiln's name, which uses the character "indigo" (indigo), is a representative color of cotton and the color of gosu, a classic ceramic color. It expresses our desire to incorporate the feel of cotton into everyday tableware. We strive to create products that incorporate new sensibilities while maintaining a focus on traditional fundamentals, striving for meticulous craftsmanship.
Because each piece is handcrafted, there may be individual differences in size, thickness, color, and pattern shading, and they may differ from the photos. Due to the characteristics of the fabric, iron contained in the fabric may appear as black dots on the surface of the dish.
