[UV care is especially important in winter when your skin is more susceptible to damage] Although the amount of UV radiation is less in winter than in summer, the sun is lower in the sky and UV rays hit your face at an angle. Also, because the humidity is low, the protective layer of the skin (stratum corneum) tends to dry out easily, so choose an umbrella that can be opened and closed smoothly to provide UV protection just like in summer.
[Parasol with no hassle of folding neatly / 16 ribs] A parasol has been added to the Shupatto umbrella series, which has no belt and the fabric folds up simply by closing it. Since there is no need to carefully fold the fabric and fasten buttons as is typical with folding umbrellas, you can smoothly enter and exit buildings and shaded areas.
[99.9% UV protection, UPF 50+, heat shielding effect, 99.9% light blocking] Provides excellent protection from strong sunlight and heat. This umbrella can also be as a rain umbrella in case of sudden rain. *While it can be as a rain umbrella, water may leak through the seams of the fabric if in heavy rain or for extended periods.
[Approximately -11°C difference in head surface temperature*] In quality tests conducted by a domestic testing institution, a comparison between a state with the Shupatto Umbrella UV applied and a state without it showed a difference of approximately 11°C in head surface temperature, demonstrating its high heat shielding effect. *The heat shielding effect may vary depending on weather and climate conditions, reflection from the road surface, wind, humidity, etc.
[Caution] ・When storing your umbrella, open it up and allow it to dry completely. Storing a wet umbrella or one that is not sufficiently dry may cause the ribs to rust, the fabric to discolor, or color transfer. ・Do not use in strong winds, as it may be damaged. ・Water may leak from the seams of the fabric during heavy rain or prolonged use. ・When drying your umbrella, avoid direct sunlight and dry it in the shade. Direct sunlight may cause fading or damage to the surface finish. ・The water-repellent properties of the fabric will decrease with repeated use. For longer use, please use a commercially available waterproofing spray. Please note that using a spray may cause stains or discoloration. ・When draining water after use, do not rotate the umbrella forcefully, as this may put excessive force on the handle and frame, causing malfunction.
[Secure in the partially open position] It can be fixed in the partially open position to dry, allowing any remaining water droplets to evaporate. Available in a range of gentle colors that are easy to match with your fashion.
【Sophisticated Design】The pattern features translucent colors, making it feel cool even in hot weather. The ferrule is made of metal, providing durability while maintaining an elegant finish.
