tesa 53327 Mono Filament Tape is a basic monofilament tape with longitudinal glass fiber reinforcement, designed for demanding logistics and production applications. Its low elongation and high tear resistance make it ideal for palletizing heavy loads and reinforcing transport packaging.
The tape uses a strong synthetic rubber adhesive that ensures secure attachment to various surfaces.
The product is optimized for everyday tasks in warehouses, distribution centers, and production plants, where load safety, packaging stiffness, and quick bundling of items are important.
Advantages and unique features
• Monofilament tape with longitudinal glass fiber reinforcement - high strength with low thickness.
• Low elongation at break - minimal tape deformation under load.
• Strong synthetic rubber adhesive - secure hold on cardboard, plastic, and wood.
• Good tear and shear resistance - secure strapping of heavy cardboard and transport units.
• Universal use - one tape for palletizing, reinforcing, bundling, and securing elements.
Properties and applications
• Palletizing heavy loads: strapping and stabilizing general-purpose transport units.
• Strengthening crates and pallets: additional protection of packaging against tearing during reloading and transport.
• Carton stiffening: strengthening heavy boxes and crates in the corner and flap areas.
• Bundling flexible products: handy strapping of rolls of carpets, floor coverings, or profiles.
• Bundling furniture parts: connecting elements to shipping sets and facilitating picking.

tesa 53327 should be stored in its original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and UV radiation. Room temperature and moderate air humidity are recommended. Before application, the surface should be clean, dry and degreased to ensure optimal adhesion and repeatable tape performance.
1) What is tesa 53327 Mono Filament Tape best suited for?
It is most often used for palletizing heavy loads, reinforcing crates and cartons, and bundling heavy items.
2) Is the tape suitable for reinforcing shipping boxes?
Yes, thanks to the glass fiber reinforcement and high tear resistance, it is very well suited for stiffening heavy boxes and securing them during transport.
3) What substrates are suitable for this tape?
The tape is mainly intended for cardboard, plastics, and smooth wooden surfaces found in packaging and transport units.
4) Is the tape flexible during bundling rolls and profiles?
The tape has low elongation, but conforms well to rounded shapes, making it effective for bundling flexible products such as floor coverings.
5) How is this tape different from classic packaging tapes?
Unlike standard packaging tapes, tesa 53327 has a glass fiber reinforcement and significantly higher tensile and shear resistance, allowing for the safe securing of heavy loads.
