BIOTERM 020200 outdoor thermometer (210/18 mm)

Window thermometer. It has special tips with adhesive tape that allow you to attach the thermometer (without drilling holes) to window frames made of plastic, aluminum or wood. Additionally, the handles have a hole for screwing the thermometer on.

The thermometer's scale is printed on a cardboard backing, placed in a glass tube terminated on both ends with plastic stoppers. The device's measurement range is from -50°C to +50°C (error tolerance up to +/- 1°C).

Thermometric fluid is a mixture of toluene (used as a solvent) with kerosene and a dye. Thermometers can be mounted on either the right or left side of the window, most often glued to the doorframe. Thermometers are best mounted in a location away from direct sunlight.

Too much sunlight can cause the print on the backing to fade. Direct sunlight, especially in summer, can cause the temperature to rise above 50°C, causing the liquid to expand and causing the capillary to rupture.

The product is available in two colors: brown and white.
