Product Introduction

EMAD features EVANS's proprietary sound control system and includes two different urethane muffling rings (damping rings) that can be easily attached and removed without removing the bass drum head. The 10mil, single-ply film allows for a range of sounds from open and natural to tight attack and fat sound with enhanced low end, thanks to the two detachable damping rings, enabling various sound textures with a single bass drum head. Coated heads provide increased warmth and depth of tone. GMAD uses a 12mil, single-ply film to add punch and low end to the original EMAD, resulting in a more powerful sound. Durability is also increased by 20%. EMAD2 further enhances attack and durability by using a two-ply film with 6.5mil on the outside and 10mil on the inside.
