Just thrown in the trash can. Doesn't work at all. No force can be applied to the lid, it always slips. The worst product I have ever bought here. Functionless junk.

This is ideal for me with my arthritis. twist to open and fit over lid then turn. It grips the lid and provides comfortable leverage without pain and the lid comes undone. And it was such good value.

The tongs do not grip the lids reliably. The surfaces for gripping the lid are overall too smooth and slide too easily over the material. So it doesn't always work well.

Works well. Small limitation: when the lid was particularly tight, the arms came loose from the gears. But I was able to put the device back together.
