Her Gaze Weaves the Future
"She" faced her destiny. She challenged the false gods who tamed humanity.
That battle changed the world. The gods, who plotted to slaughter all of humanity, were defeated by the will of humanity.
The gods' power was lost, and Cocoon, the safe haven of humanity, fell from the sky and merged with Pulse, the land where magical beasts roamed.
A new era, freed from the rule of the gods, began.
But "she" was no more. She disappeared at the end of the battle.
Everyone gave up, believing "she" was dead.
Only Serah Farron believed in "her."
And three years passed.
A sudden meteorite brought an end to those peaceful days.
Space-time was distorted, and an enemy from another dimension attacked.
Amid the chaos, Serah is saved by a young stranger named Noel. A hunter, washed up through time, tells Serah:
Let's embark on a journey through time and space. "She" awaits us, far beyond time.
"She" is named Lightning. In a world ruled by death and chaos, she protects the dying goddess. She is the irreplaceable older sister who once saved Serah.
"I want to see you, big sister."
Resolving to step into the future, Serah takes up the weapon entrusted to her by her sister.
Let's keep fighting here. Believing that we will surely meet at the end of time, Lightning
The protagonist of the previous game threw himself into a battle that turned the world against him in order to save his sister Serah, who had turned to crystal. He now serves as a knight guarding the temple of the goddess Etro in the chaotic land of Valhalla. She remains as strict with herself and others, and unwavering in her actions as ever, but having overcome many challenges together with her allies, she has developed a stronger sense of trust in them than ever before. Lightning battles Bahamut Chaos, who attacks with his vicious claws. She continues the fight alone in the distant future. She pledges her absolute loyalty to her master, the summoned beast Odin. Only the cursed beings "l'Cie" should be able to command summoned beasts, and Lightning, a human, should be able to do so...
If you continue to believe, miracles will happen. Serah Farron Lightning's younger sister and one of the main characters of this work. After the fall of Cocoon, she descended to Gran Pulse with the members of Nora and taught children in Neo Bodhum. However, believing that her missing sister Lightning is still alive, she sets out on a journey with Noel. Although she has a somewhat fragile air about her, she is a strong-willed woman with a kind heart and a serious personality. Serah's weapon is a transformed Moogle, which can transform into a sword or bow depending on the battle situation.
Never give up on life! Noel Kreis One of the game's protagonists, Noel appears before Serah. Left alone in the distant future, he embarks on a journey through time and space with Serah to change the "despairing future." He specializes in close-quarters attacks using his uniquely shaped dual swords, and is adept at combat, combining the two swords to attack as a spear. He has a straightforward and cheerful personality. He excels as an attacker in battle, toying with enemies with his agile movements and dual swords in both hands.

[Historia Cross] ◇Historia Cross Branching◇ A single time-space area may contain multiple gates, and the next time-space area that opens will depend on which gate you activate.
There are three gates in total in the Bilge Ruins - AF005-. This means there are three time-space areas you can access from here. If you have the corresponding out-of-place artifacts for each gate, players can choose which area to visit next in any order. Searching for the out-of-place artifacts that activate the gates is also part of the game's play.
Closing an opened gate will return you to the time-space area as you first visited it. You can try out various possibilities, such as redoing your live trigger selections or challenging powerful enemies you weren't able to defeat the first time you visited.
◇Bilge Ruins - AF005 - Golden Gate◇ Golden gates are special gates guided by the goddess. Each gate requires a unique, special out-of-place artifact to activate.
Activating a gate opens a path to adjacent time-space areas. ◇Blue Gate in Bilge Ruins - AF005◇ Blue gates can be activated using Wild Out-of-Place artifacts. Wild Out-of-Place artifacts are not unique; they can be obtained in various eras.
