2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Modelled on the No. 89 locomotive with the original LP403 headlights and side filters, and the old electric heating indicator light, it reproduces the characteristics of Hitachi vehicles deployed at Takasaki No. 2 Locomotive Depot, Utsunomiya Depot, Nagaoka Depot and other locations from the late 1960s to the 1970s. Reproduces snow-resistant equipment such as icicle cutters, H-rubbers for the small front windows, whistle covers, snowplows and electric heating equipment. Reproduces the distinctive R shape of the body end under the driver's cab and Hitachi's square bolster. Beautifully reproduces the body paint colour and front stripe. A large number of separate parts are used, including handrails, jumper tubes and wipers, to reproduce three-dimensional details. The wipers reproduce the shape of the WP50 type equipment. A new PS15 pantograph has been created. Reproduces the shape of the gaps between the spokes on both the driving and leading wheels.
